Wherever they work, A&B employees can gather a team of co-workers to participate in community fund-raising activities such as walk-a-thons or beach cleanups.

This year, Team A&B has walked for cancer research, collected food and cash for the Hawaii Food Bank, and pitched in once again at the Special Olympics Hawaii Summer Games.

In April, employee food drives collected non-perishable food and cash for local food banks in preparation for the summer months when the need for food is greatest.  On Oahu, A&B and Matson employees teamed up with friends at McCabe, Hamilton & Renny stevedoring to collect 1,507 pounds of food and $4,685 for the Hawaii Foodbank.  From left, Cathy Camp (A&B Properties), Lek Friel and Keahi Birch (Matson Navigation), Hawaii Foodbank President Dick Grimm, Corinne Uyeno (Matson Navigation), Nalani Formean (McCabe, Hamilton & Renny), Yvette Ho (Matson Navigation) and Kris Kobayashi (A&B).
